Fiber optics: why your business can no longer do without it

Video calls, online software, cloud backups, IP cameras: a modern business runs almost all of its activity through its internet connection. When that link is slow or unstable, both staff and customers feel it.

What fiber really changes

  • Symmetrical speeds: uploads and backups run as fast as downloads.
  • A stable connection: fiber is immune to electrical interference and weather, unlike radio or copper links.
  • Low latency: VoIP calls and video meetings stay smooth.
  • Room to grow: once the fiber is in place, bandwidth can be increased without new cabling.

Fiber to the building and internal fiber

Bringing fiber to your premises is not always enough. For a multi-building site or an industrial zone, an internal fiber backbone links the buildings together and removes bottlenecks.

How a deployment works

  1. Site survey: we map your premises, cable routes and needs.
  2. Design: we choose the route, fiber type and equipment.
  3. Installation: pulling, splicing and fitting the enclosures.
  4. Acceptance testing: every link is measured with an OTDR, and the results are handed over to you.

Our advice

Plan ahead: install more fibers than you need today. The extra cost is small, and you will avoid reopening trenches later.
